- Do I need to install anything on my PC?
- No, PPTslides runs completely in the browser.
- Can access rights be assigned at the slide level?
- Yes, it is possible to assign rights at the slide level using the role concept.
- Can a slide be marked as a mandatory slide?
- Yes, it is possible to mark a slide as mandatory. If a slide from a slide set is needed that contains one or more mandatory slides, the desired slide can only be used together with the mandatory slides.
- Is it possible to limit the validity of a slide?
- PPTslides allows you to specify when a slide should be valid and until when. Downloaded slides contain then as stamp the validity period. Invalid slides cannot be downloaded.
- Is it possible to search for new or changed slides?
- Yes, the convenient search allows you to find new or changed slides from a specific date.
- Are changes in slide sets automatically transferred to the derived presentations?
- Absolutely, this is the most important feature of PPTslides. Changes in slide sets are automatically transferred to all derived presentations.
- Is it possible for the editor to add attachments to the slide sets?
- Yes, every slide set can be assigned attachments in the form of screenshots, notes, tables, and attachments. These attachments are also available in the derived presentations.
- Is it possible to send your presentations by email with a download link?
- Yes, sending a download link is possible. This can optionally be protected with a password and given a limited lifetime.
- Is there a private/public mode for presentations?
- Yes, every user can decide whether their presentations are available to other users or kept private.
- Can both individual slides and an entire slide set be indexed?
- Yes, the configurable index allows you to index both individual slides and the entire slide set.
